“Don’t sit up there, it’s not good to be seen.” Camille pushed Maggie off her desk, “What cow are you saying, I had a nightmare last night.”
“All night?”
“Yeah, over and over again. It was torture.” Camille yawned. Her whole body was listless and her eyes were bloodshot.

Chapter 013 Camille left the study, and she went downstairs to get cleaning tools. She cleaned up the mess at the entrance to Jerome's study before returning to her room. The next day, she went to the office with two big panda eyes. When Maggie saw her like that, she jumped in shock, "Holy shit, did you steal a cow last night?" "Don't sit up there, it's not good to be seen." Camille pushed Maggie off her desk, "What cow are you saying, I had a nightmare last night." "All night?" "Yeah, over and over again. It was torture." Camille yawned. Her whole body was listless and her eyes were bloodshot. She had been up almost all night. And as soon as she closed her eyes, all she could think about was the dream that in the situation that she did’t agree to donate her bone marrow, Jerome forcibly removed them. That dream was so real that it scared her. She even wondered if he would really do it if she didn't agree. "What kind of nightmare did you have, anyway?" Maggie asked with interest as she came up to Camille. Camille lowered her eyes, "Enough about that, what are you doing here this morning?" Seeing her change the subject, Maggie raised her eyebrows, "Do you forgot it, it is the welcome party!" "I don't forget it, but the welcome party is in the evening. Why are you telling me this now?" Camille said with a bit of disinterest as she sorted through the information. "Of course I'm asking that have you prepared your dress?" "Dress?" Camille was stunned, and the movement of her hands stopped. Maggie smiled and winked, "Surely you don't have one, do you?" "Do I have to wear a dress for the welcome party?" Camille looked at her with a bewildered expression. Maggie's smiled subsided and her expression became serious, "Don’t you know? This news have been notified to the whole company yesterday, which was your secretary team to inform down." Yesterday ...... Camille bit her lower lip, and her small face was tinged with a touch of slight anger. Her expression fell in Maggie's eyes and she instantly understood everything, "They didn’t inform you deliberately ?" "I think so!" Camille nodded her head. She was already unpopular in the secretarial team and she had became their bullying target yesterday. So it wasn't so surprising that they didn’t tell her the news. "It's too much, I'll go and settle the score with them. You both are secretaries, and you're the president's personal secretary. What makes them bully you liked that!" Maggie clenched her fist and gritted her teeth to go out. Camille hurriedly dragged her, "Okay Maggie. Don't be impulsive! You can't afford to mess with them, and you'll be disciplined if you make a scene. It's not worth it." "Do you just let it go?" Maggie stared reluctantly. Camille slipped her a glass of water, "I'm a secretary for the first time, and I don't know anything. That's why they dare to bully me so blatantly, but when I'm fully familiar with the job of secretary later, they won't dare." "You're too soft, can't you be tougher?" Maggie angrily poked Camille's forehead and she was angry for her being soft. Camille laughed lightly, she looked at the time at the bottom right of the computer and reminded, "You should go back to the department, it's time to check in." "Oh yeah, I almost forgot. I'll go back first then, how about we go to pick out a dress together after work this afternoon?" Camille's expression stiffened. When she thought about her flattened wallet, her heart was dripping blood, "Okay ......" "Then it's a deal, bye!" Maggie left and Camille sat back in her chair. When she was looking at the less than four digit deposit in her phone's newsletter, she was worried, "What kind of dress can I buy with this?" "Dress?" A cold male voice suddenly sounded at the door. Camille subconsciously straightened her back to look over, she saw that Jerome was in a silver gray suit and he was standing in the doorway, followed by Darcy. "What is the dress you just talked about?" Jerome's thin lips lightly opened and he asked again. Camille put down her phone and she stood up, "It's the welcome party tonight. It says the whole company have to wear a formal dress." "Is that a thing?" Jerome twisted his head to glance at Darcy. Darcy pushed his glasses, "Yes, because you invited many famous people in the industry, so the vice president informed everyone to wear a formal dress." "I see." Jerome responded indifferently and he lifted his feet to walk towards his office. After giving Camille a formulaic smiled, Darcy quickly followed. Camille beamed, she was confused and she closed the office door behind her. She didn’t understand in her mind what Jerome meant by saying two words and then left. She was unable to figure out the reason, and Camille shakes her head back to her desk. Then she continued to sort out the information she just received. The information was not much, and she just needed to scan it into the computer to save it. After finishing her work, Camille made a cup of coffee and she idly browsed the web on the computer. Then she thought of something, her eyes dimmed for a moment. And she put down her coffee and typed a line on the keyboard with a serious expression. Then a page immediately popped up: the disadvantages of bone marrow donation! When she saw that bone marrow donation did not kill people, she was slightly relieved. But when she saw that there were after-effects, her heart instantly lifted. "Thirty percent of the people would be at risk of aging, reducing bone marrow production, and elevating white blood cells may lead to leukemia ......" When she read this, Camille's hand was holding the mouse trembled. Her face was a little pale, and her heart began to fear. She didn't expect that the after-effects would be so serious, and she was unwilling to accept anyone of them. After all, no one knew if she was one of the thirty percent. What to do, what the hell should she do? Camille bit her nails and her body cowered. She suddenly felt so cold. It was obviously no air conditioning in the office, but it was as if she was in the middle of a freezing cellar. And the anxiety in her heart was so heavy that she could hardly breathe. This anxiety continued until noon. Then the secretary team brought a pile of documents and they asked her to send them to the president's office. Camille patted her cheeks and she took a deep breath, adjusted her mind, picked up the information. Then she went to Jerome. And when she was about to knock on the door, it opened. Darcy came out from inside and he was surprised to see her, "Madame Camille, you just come in time. I was just about to look for you too." He used a salutation, and Camille twisted rather uncomfortably, "Darcy, what do you want with me?" "The president ask me to inform you that you don't have to come to work this afternoon." "I don't have to come to work?" Camille's eyes rounded with anxiety and her volume rose, "Is He firing me?" The corners of Darcy's mouth trembled and he laughed, "No, you misunderstand it. The president don't want to fire you, but he give you half a day off to rest and recuperate. Otherwise you won't have the energy to attend the welcome party tonight." "So that's how it is." Camille breathed a sigh of relief and she scratched her neck awkwardly. Darcy's eyes fell on her other hand, "Are these to be sent to the president?" "Yes." Camille nodded her head. "Please give them to me, I'll bring them in for you. And you can go back to have a rest." "Okay, thanks Darcy," Camille said without refusing. then she handed him the stack of papers. Darcy took it and he went back to the office. Then he gently placed it on Jerome's desk. Jerome looked up from behind his computer when he heard the movement, "Have you told her?" Darcy nodded. Jerome rubbed his tired eyes, "You go to order a dress that fits Camille later." "Is there anything else besides a dress?" Darcy asked after a moment's hesitation. Jerome rubbed his chin and he pondered for a moment, "Prepare the heels too. And as for the jewelry ..... I remember the swan necklace arrived at customs. You go to pick it up this afternoon." Darcy looked at him in surprise, "Ms. do you plan to send it to Miss Kent to wear? But isn't that the gift you are going to give to Gwen?"
